Davaar cottage is situated in the crofting township of Carbost on the west coast of the Isle of Skye, eighteen miles from Portree, the main town on the island. It is in a quiet setting with excellent views of Loch Harport and the Cuillin hills, making it the ideal base for climbers and walkers, or for discovering the island's rich and historic past.
Within walking distance of the cottage there is a small grocery shop, post office and doctors' surgery as well as the Old Inn, a traditional pub serving light meals and snacks. Also in the village is Talsker Distillery, the one single malt distillery on Skye, with regular tours and tastings.
The cottage is maintained to a high standard and is kept spotlessly clean. It sleeps six, having one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a third bedroom with bunk-beds. There is an open plan kitchen/living room with all facilities such as fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, oven and microwave, and a TV and video.
There is ample parking beside the cottage. Due to nearby farm animals we do no accept pets.
