The beaches are within a 20 min drive with beautiful golden sands.The coastal area caters for a wide range of water sports, these include kayaking, wind surfing, kite surfing, sand buggying and sailing.

The village of Plourin-les-Morlaix is 3km from the gite, this has an arcade of shops which include, bank, bakery, supermarket, post office, pharmicie, doctors and dentist.

The medival town of Morlaix is roughly 7km away, This is a beautifull harbour town, with cafe's, bistros, bars, resturants, shops, bowling, cinema, 2 large hyper markerts, train station, tourist information, which has events running throughout the summer, with a market every Saturday throughout the year.

There is a swimming pool at Plougineau, a 15min drive.

The small village of Le Cloitre has a museum dedicated to the wolf. 3 mins away, open throughout the summer.

The National Parc is just 15 mins drive, this includes a small range of mountains known as Les monts d'arree. Brassparts within the parc has an exhibition centre for local craftsmen and women to display and sell their works.
Huelgoat, has the rock valley which was formed from the ice age. (well worth a visit)

Rosscoff, Carantec, Loquirec, St Pol-de- Leon, etc, lovely coastal villages each maintaining it's own individuallaty which haven't been spoilt by commercialisation, all this within 20 min drive.

Further afield you have Perris guirec with it's marvellous rose granite. Le Mont Saint Michel. Brest, the closet city from us, again only 35 mins away, steeped in naval history, large shopping area, with a good night life, and a train service from Morlaix station
