Le Bouex lies in the heart of the French countryside, 40 miles east of Poitiers, and within easy reach of the Loire region and the Brenne national park. It has farmland, rivers, woods and quaint ancient villages, but is also accessible to historic cities like Chartres and Limoges. Go on day trips to the coast at La Rochelle, or just wander through the countryside, enjoying the slower pace of life and stopping off to eat (and drink!) in the village auberges.
